DFJ Element Invests $3.5 Million in Fat Spaniel Technologies; First Institutional Funding for Leading Provider of IT Infrastructure for Renewable/Distributed Power Generation.


MENLO PARK, Calif. -- Clean technology venture firm, DFJ DFJ Dysfunkshun Junkshun (Austin, Texas band)  Element, announced today that it had completed a $3.5 million investment in Fat Spaniel spaniel: see sporting dog; toy dog.

Any of several breeds of dogs used to flush game. Spaniels originated in Spain, but most modern breeds were developed in Britain. Breeds range from 14 to 20 in.
 Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of IT infrastructure for distributed power generation. The investment will be used to expand the company's engineering capabilities and to support its growth into additional markets.
