DEVONT OFFERS EINSTEIN(TM) MHS(TM) E-MAIL(DOS) USERS A $199 UPGRADE TO ITS NEW WINDOWS VERSION WITH A MAJOR INCENTIVE: AN UNLIMITED LICENSE

CONROE, Texas, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Devont Software, Inc. (Conroe, Texas) announces an innovative promotion for users of its MHS(TM)- compatible electronic mail (DOS) software. For a limited time (June 1 through Sept. 30, 1993), registered users of Einstein(TM) Electronic Mail can receive the new Windows version complete with an unlimited license for $199, direct from Devont. New Einstein Electronic Mail for Windows will be available in July to new users for $249 (10-user version; all prices suggested US resale per server at participating resellers; $299 for 20-user, $499 for unlimited users). DOS version 4.0 is available at the same price; any combination of DOS and Windows versions is allowable under any given user-count license for an additional $199.
"Our installed vase is what paid for our Windows development effort," says Devont VP Jim Tyson. "So we're happy to give them an unlimited license to the Windows version when they upgrade to licensing both environments."
In addition to electronic mail, Einstein E-Mail for Windows features group "chat" (two or more users can read what each other types), personal chats (the same on private peer-to-peer channels), phone messages, an in/out board, network utilities and more.
