DETROIT NEWSPAPER AGENCY APPOINTS JEANNINE DUVALL TELEMARKETING DIRECTOR
DETROIT, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Jeannine Duvall has been appointed telemarketing director of the Detroit Newspaper Agency. Duvall will oversee telemarketing efforts for both classified and retail sales and will report to Richard McClennen, senior vice president/marketing.
Also promoted in the advertising department are David Allan who becomes advertising operations manager and Edward Murphy who becomes advertising budget and office manager.
"Jeannine Duvall is an outstanding sales executive," said Frank Vega, president of the DNA. "Her presence will be a real boost to the efforts and the spirit of our staff."
"Telemarketing is such a key element in our sales strategy that bringing all of those functions together under her leadership just makes sense," he said.
"These three appointments solidify our management staff and lay the groundwork for the further strengthening of the advertising department team," said McClennen.
Duvall comes to the DNA from the Desert Sun of Palm Springs, Calif., where she was classified advertising manager. Prior to the Desert Sun, she worked for eight years at Fort Wayne, Indiana Newspapers. Her experience there included newsroom, circulation and marketing positions.
Last year Duvall was a Gannett Sales Executive of the Year finalist and was awarded Gannett's President's Certificate of Excellence. She is a graduate of Barat College in Lake Forest, Ill.
Allan will be responsible for advertising makeup, dispatch and advertising service departments. Murphy will be responsible for all administrative duties of the advertising department.
