 for the killer of a 19-year-old Pacoima man, gunned down on a residential street while he stood with friends less than a block from his home.

 wounded when a bullet shot out of a car and struck him in the face about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. He had been hanging out on Kagel Canyon Street with friends when the gunfire erupted, officials said.

He was transported to a local hospital where he was put on life support. He was pronounced dead at 2 a.m., officials said.

Detectives interviewed Gonzalez's family and canvassed the neighborhood Friday afternoon searching for clues.
