DETECTIVES SEEK SUSPECT IN TEEN'S STABBING.Byline: Greg Botonis Staff Writer QUARTZ HILL - Lancaster sheriff's investigators are asking for the public's help in locating a man believed to have been involved in the stabbing and beating of a 17-year-old Desert Winds High School student. Robert Lee Robert Lee is the name of several people and could refer to:
``Detectives are being very cautious in this investigation,'' said Deputy Dan Burdick of the Lancaster Sheriff's Station. ``They want to make sure that they know exactly who did what.'' Investigators said two 17-year-old Desert Winds High School students, whose campus adjoins Quartz Hill High School, had argued earlier in the day. The two agreed to meet off campus to fight during lunchtime. One teen showed up for the fight alone, but the second brought four friends armed with baseball bats and knives, deputies said. The five assailants beat the boy, whose name was not released because of his age, and stabbed him at least twice, officials said. The attackers fled afterward af·ter·ward also af·ter·wards adv. The teen was taken to a local hospital and remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition. Deputies located the car and found a knife inside the vehicle. Two other knives were later located near the scene of the attack. One teen was arrested just after the incident. Investigators believe two of the attackers were adults and the other three were juveniles. Robles is described as a Latino, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, 140 pounds, with a shaved head. He is believed to frequent the area near 17th Street West and Avenue K.
