DESIGNING WOMEN.LANCASTER - Cedar cedar, common name for a number of trees, mostly coniferous evergreens. The true cedars belong to the small genus Cedrus of the family Pinaceae (pine family). Centre Co-op Gallery artists will display their work in a Christmas fine art show and sale opening Saturday. ``Jewels of the Valley'' will run Saturday through Dec. 20. The artwork will feature watercolors, oils, pastels, collages, sculptures and china painting by artists Jo Gayle Gerner, Louise Goodrich, Jane Holmes, Barbara Keys, Diane McLemore, Phyllis Southworth, Sallie Thatcher Thatch·er , Margaret Hilda.
