DEPUTIES TO HIT STREETS TO ASSIST TOY, FOOD DRIVE.

``The program started 17 years ago. The food and toy drive is sponsored by private donations, including a $4,000 donation from the Ventura County Deputy Sheriff's Association. Unwrapped toys and cash donations may be dropped off at any sheriff's substation until Dec. 8.
