afternoon, Friday evening and early Saturday morning.

All three robberies occurred in less than 12 hours, and two of the robberies occurred at the same gas station.

``The first robbery was a white male and it doesn't sound like it's connected to the other two,'' said Deputy Mark Newlands of the Palmdale Sheriff's Station. ``There was a different gun used in the next two and it doesn't sound like they were connected, but we don't know Don't know (DK, DKed)

The first robbery occurred about 4:10 p.m. at the USA gas station on 10th Street West when an armed man entered the convenience store and demanded the clerk hand over the money in the register.

The robber was described as a white man wearing a black jacket and blue jeans blue jeans also blue·jeans

About four hours later, Famous Pizza, located in the 300 block of Palmdale Boulevard, was robbed by three men, at least one of whom was armed with a shotgun shotgun: see small arms.

They made away with an undisclosed amount of money and were described only as African-American men wearing all-black clothing. Officials said the employees were unsure if any of the other men were armed.

Just after 3 a.m. Saturday morning, three African-American men, one armed with a handgun, held up the same USA gas station that was robbed earlier on 10th Street West.

Officials said there were differences in the two later robberies that indicate they were committed by two different groups of men.

No one in any of the robberies was hurt and no shots were fired.

Anyone with information in any of the robberies was asked to call the Palmdale sheriff's station at (661) 267-4300.
