DEPUTIES ASK PUBLIC HELP IN FINDING AREA `FLASHERS'.

Sheriff's detectives are seeking the public's help in finding two men who exposed themselves to girls in the Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  area.

The separate crimes occurred at 10:50 p.m. March 14 near Lyons and Newhall avenues and about 8 a.m. on Saturday near Sumner Sum·ner , James Batcheller 1887-1955.

In the first case, a bearded Latino in his 40s, about 5 feet, 8 inches and 140 pounds, ``flashed'' a girl, Dolan said. The girl told deputies the man was wearing a blue jacket a man-of war's man; a sailor wearing a naval uniform.

On Saturday, a man in his 30s with a mustache and long dirty blond hair, drove up to the victim in a red four-door and exposed himself to a girl standing in front of her home, Dolan said.

Anyone with information about the identity of the men, or who saw the crimes, was asked to call detectives at the sheriff's Santa Clarita station, (805) 255-1121.
