It runs from Tunnel Station near the north limit of the City of Los Angeles, where it intersects with San Fernando Road and Foothill Boulevard, as well as Interstate 5, and continues north to Mojave, mostly paralleling . Bradford is suspected of punching an 18-year-old passenger in a pickup truck filled with teens, said Deputy Mike Lorenzi of the Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. The driver of the pickup truck, a 17-year-old Canyon Country resident, also was arrested one suspicion of battery.

``Apparently one truck cut the other truck off, and there was some yelling and cursing,'' Lorenzi said. ``They were driving side by side when the 17-year-old driver spits at (Bradford's) truck and hits it with his fist. That's when (Bradford) got out of his truck.''

None of the five teens in the other truck exited the vehicle, Lorenzi said. The man who was hit in the mouth was taken to a doctor's office in Newhall, where his father joined him.

When deputies arrived at the Lyons Avenue doctor's office to interview the victim, the teen's father said neither he nor his son would identify themselves or provide any details about what happened.

``The teen had one tooth knocked out and the other tooth was hanging,'' Lorenzi said. ``Just seeing the blood, it seems like we've got a victim. But the dad wouldn't cooperate, so we're still investigating whether this kid's only a victim, or if he was involved in some way.''
