Lesley DeBois scored 24 points to lead an offense that produced four double-figure scorers Saturday night as The Master's College defeated host Cal Baptist 87-72 in Golden State Athletic Conference women's basketball.

Elisabeth deWaalMalefyt, Amy Van Doesburg and Briana Brigandi contributed six rebounds apiece for the Mustangs (11-4, 4-2), who are ranked No. 16 nationally among NAIA teams.

In boys' basketball:

--Chaminade 78, Notre Dame 64: Marcus Everett had 17 points and six assists to lead the Eagles of West Hills (13-3, 2-0) to a Mission League win over the visiting Knights of Sherman Oaks, who fell to 1-1 in league. Orlando Baeza led Notre Dame with 17 points.

--Valley Torah Torah (tôr`ə) [Heb.,=teachings or learning], Hebrew name for the five books of Moses—the Law of Moses or the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Bible. The Torah is believed by Orthodox Jews to have been handed down to Moses on Mt. Sinai and transmitted by him to the Jews. 89, Summit View 18: Omer Markush came off the bench to contribute 14 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists and seven steals as the Wolfpack of Valley Village (7-2, 3-0) won a Valley League game over the host Avalanche of Valley Glen. Valley Torah had six players with double-figure rebound totals.

In girls' basketball:

--Bell-Jeff 61, St. Anthony 37: Jennae Peoples had 25 points, 14 rebounds and 10 steals for the host Guards of Burbank (11-3, 1-1) in a Camino Real League win over the Saints of Long Beach.

--Reseda 53, Hamilton 43: Ashley Tacub had 20 points and seven steals to lead the Regents (7-3) to a win in the third-place game of the Roosevelt tournament. Nayley Jimenez added 13 points and eight rebounds for Reseda.

In boys' soccer:

--Chaminade 1, Notre Dame 0: Chris Estes scored and goalkeeper Ian Nussbaum had 10 saves for the visiting Eagles of West Hills (6-5-1, 2-0) in a Mission League win over the Knights of Sherman Oaks (5-4-2, 0-1-1).

--Loyola 1, Harvard-Westlake 0: Mario Nicholas scored in the 41st minute and Brian Grinditch had three saves in his third shutout as the Cubs of Los Angeles (5-5-3) won a Mission League match at Harvard-Westlake of Studio City. The host Wolverines fell to 7-5-4, 0-2-1.

--St. Francis 1, Crespi 0: The top-ranked Golden Knights of La Canada Flintridge (9-0-4, 1-0-1) outlasted 12 saves by Celts goalkeeper Peter Bomar and won the Mission League match on Daniel Paladini's goal. Visiting Crespi of Encino fell to 8-4-2, 1-1-1.

--Burroughs 5, Brea-Olinda Olinda (lēn`də), city (1991 pop. 341,394), Pernambuco state, E Brazil, on the Atlantic Ocean. Founded in 1537, it was captured by the Dutch in the 1630s and burned to the ground. The rebuilt city served as a provincial capital until 1827. 1: Jacob Berg had two goals and Justin Waddell, Ruben Escalera and Sean Lowe added one apiece for the Indians of Burbank (6-4-4) in a nonleague win at Brea Olinda of Brea. Allenn Machuca and Jason Salazar combined for eight saves for the host Wildcats (8-3-2), who won last year's Southern Section Division III championship.

--Desert Christian 3, Mammoth 0: Adam Sultan had three goals and Shay Thompson two assists for the Knights of Lancaster (6-1, 3-0) in a High Desert League win at Mammoth.

In girls' soccer:

--Louisville 2, Flintridge Sacred Heart 1: Jenny Farenbaugh had a goal and assist and teammate Monica Caires scored the game-winning goal for the host Royals of Woodland Hills (10-3, 1-1) in Mission League play.

--Attention prep basketball coaches: Beginning Jan. 14, the Daily News is asking all local high school boys' and girls' basketball coaches to report their team's individual statistics every Monday.
