:XRAY) today announced that Ms. Paula H. Cholmondeley has been appointed to serve as a member of the Board of Directors with her initial term expiring at the 2004 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.

Ms. Cholmondeley is the Vice President and General Manager of Specialty Products for Sappi Fine Paper, a $1.6 billion subsidiary of Sappi Limited, the world's leading producer of coated free sheet papers. She started her business career as an auditor with Arthur Andersen L.L.P., and has held a number of significant positions with several companies, including several managerial positions with Westinghouse Elevator Company.

She later served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President for Blue Cross of Greater Philadelphia and then Vice President of Business Development and Global Sourcing and General Manager of Residential Insulation for Owens Corning.

Ms. Cholmondeley serves on the Board of the Villanova Capital mutual fund and the Graduate Executive Board of The Wharton School.
