DENTSPLY International Inc. Raises Cash Dividend.


YORK, Pa. -- DENTSPLY International Inc. (Nasdaq:XRAY) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per share of common stock, an indicated annual rate of $0.16 per share. This represents about a fourteen percent (14%) increase in the existing dividend. The dividend is payable on January 9, 2007 to holders of record on December 28, 2006.

Gary K. Kunkle, Jr., Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, "We are pleased that our Board of Directors has chosen to share the continued growth in the Company's earnings with our shareholders."
