DENTSPLY International Inc. Increases Dividend And Announces Two-For-One Stock Split.YORK, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 1997--DENTSPLY International Inc. (Nasdaq-XRAY) Thursday announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $ .1025 per share of common stock, an increase of 10.8 percent and an indicated annual rate of $ .41 per share. The dividend is payable Oct. 10, 1997 to holders of record on Sept. 30, 1997. The company also announced that the board of directors has approved a two-for-one stock split. The stock split will be effected through the distribution of one newly-issued share of Common Stock, par value $ .01 per share, for each outstanding share of Common Stock held by stockholders of record as of Oct. 14, 1997 and will be payable on Oct. 29, 1997.
