DELTA WATER SHUTTLE OFFERS FREE TRIPS
TO LAGUARDIA'S MARINE AIR TERMINAL JULY 11-25
NEW YORK, July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Delta Water Shuttle, which offers Delta Shuttle passengers the easiest way to and from Manhattan, will be even easier July 11 through July 25, as all trips during those two weeks will be free.
The only requirement - membership in Delta's Frequent Flyer program. For those who are not members, enrollment at the time of the Water Shuttle trip is all that's needed for the free trip. In addition, Delta Shuttle passengers using the Water Shuttle during the period will receive a 50 percent-off coupon for a Water Shuttle trip taken between July 26 and October 31.
"The Water Shuttle is a great way to make Manhattan trips to and from Boston and Washington as quick and easy as possible," said Jeff Niven, Delta's district director of marketing for New York City. "The free trips and discounts will enable us to better acquaint the public with the convenience and value of the Shuttle for transportation to and from the Marine Air Terminal."
The Delta Water Shuttle leaves from LaGuardia's Marine Air Terminal and stops at 34th Street and the East River, and then at Wall Street's Pier 11. It then heads back making the same stops.
Delta, a major world airline, operates an average of 132 flights each day from New York area airports, including the Delta Shuttle's service to Boston and Washington. Delta is a major employer in the New York area with more than 5,500 personnel.
