DELTA SCIENTIFIC WINS ARMY ORDERS.

 - Delta Scientific announced it has obtained orders for its vehicle barriers from four U.S. Army bases.

The bases are Fort Drum Fort Drum may refer to:

The population was 7,176 at the 2000 census.  and the Aberdeen Proving Ground Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) is a United States Army facility located near Aberdeen, Maryland (in Harford County).

The Army's oldest active proving ground, it was established on October 20, 1917, six months after the United States entered World War I.
. Delta said its barriers meet the new U.S. Army Standard for Access Control Points. This standard is mandatory for operations and maintenance projects commencing in 2006 and beyond and for all projects starting in 2008 and beyond.

Delta previously had its bollards and barriers installed at most U.S. Navy bases. The U.S. Air Force has ordered more than 540 Delta barriers in a $25 million order, the largest contract for barricades ever, the company said.

Delta Scientific Corporation manufacturers vehicle access control equipment at plants in Valencia and Palmdale.
