DELHI GROUP AFFILIATE ACQUIRES 30MMCFD GAS PROCESSING PLANT

DALLAS, Oct. 5, /PRNewswire/ -- USX-Delhi Group (NYSE: DGP) announced today that its affiliate, Tonkawa Gas Processing Company, has acquired a cryogenic gas processing plant and associated contracts from the Pettus Gas Plant, L.C. of Houston.
The Pettus Gas Plant, which has a daily processing capacity of 30 million cubic feet of natural gas, is located in Bee County, Texas, near an existing Delhi gas gathering system.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
David M. Kihneman, president of Delhi Group, said, "The Pettus acquisition will enhance the Delhi Group's ability to gather and process gas in south Texas. We have already initiated construction on a pipeline interconnect between the Pettus plant and our Delhi system. This link will allow throughput at the Pettus plant to be supplemented with surplus unprocessed gas supply not currently being processed at Tonkawa's Three Rivers gas processing plant."
USX-Delhi Group, a unit of USX Corporation, includes Tonkawa Gas Processing Company, Delhi Gas Pipeline Corporation and related companies which are subsidiaries of USX. They are engaged in the purchasing, gathering, processing, transporting and marketing of natural gas.
