VISALIA - JetHawks pitcher Francisco Trejo's strong start was the most recent casualty of Lancaster's poor defense.

The JetHawks, who have at least one error in every game and 31 for the season, made four more Friday in a 5-0 loss to the Visalia Oaks The Visalia Oaks are a minor league baseball team in Visalia, California, U.S. They are a "high-A" class team of the Arizona Diamondbacks operating in the California League.

The Oaks play home games at Recreation Park; opened in 1967, the stadium seats 1,800 fans.
 at Recreation Park.

Lancaster (5-10) has lost three of its past four games and six of its last eight.

Trejo (0-2) allowed two unearned runs in six innings of four-hit ball. He struck out five batters and allowed five walks.

Visalia took a 1-0 lead in the third, when J.T. Slotts scored from third on the front end of a double steal when catcher Craig Ansman's throw went into left field. A two-base error charged to center fielder Dwight Edge, who dropped a fly ball, led to Visalia's second run. Reliever Joey Cramblitt's was charged with an error on an errant pickoff pick·off

Corey Myers, who had hit in 13 consecutive games for Lancaster, was 0 for 4.

Jesus Cota, who had hit safely in his previous nine games, was 0 for 3 with a walk and scored the JetHawks' only run in the ninth on Josh Kroeger's sacrifice fly.

--Matchup: Right-hander Casey Daigle (1-0, 4.12 ERA) will pitch for the JetHawks in the second of a three-game road series at 7 tonight. Right-hander Rich Harden (0-0, 3.01) will pitch for Visalia.
