 DEFENSE SECRETARY CHENEY TO ADDRESS AMERICAN INSTITUTE
 OF AERONAUTICS AND ASTRONAUTICS CONFERENCE
 U.S. Defense Secretary Dick Cheney will present the principal address at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics' (AIAA) bi-annual Strategic Systems Conference on Thursday, Feb. 13. Cheney will also answer reporters' questions at a separate media availability following his speech.
 -- The AIAA conference will be held at the Sheraton Harbor Island
 Hotel in San Diego (1380 Harbor Island Drive).
 -- Cheney's speech will begin at approximately 9 a.m. in the
 hotel's Grand Ballroom.
 -- Following the address, Cheney will take media questions at a
 separate media availability at 10 a.m. in the Cabernet Room at
 the hotel. Media representatives covering the secretary's
 AIAA speech will have the opportunity to break down their
 equipment and proceed to the Cabernet Room prior to Cheney's
 media availability.
 -- The sessions are open to accredited news media
 representatives.
 -- News media members attending are asked to arrive by 8:15 a.m.
 to present credentials and be in place for the opening of the
 session at 8:30 a.m.
