DEERHUNTER STEREO, GLASGOW, MAY 20 ***

WHILE the ship went down, the massively talented Deerhunter managed to keep a smile and make multiple attempts at Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit.

They had a poor night. Sound problems in the opening minutes of Cryptograms took a few minutes to correct, but the mis-firing tone was set for the entire show.

 and the catchy surf rock Surf rock is a style of music that originated in the USA that mixes elements of surf music and rock music. The most influential styles on surf rock were general rock n roll, pop rock and surf music.  Never Stops were positives but just as the show was gathering pace with Nothing Ever Happened, the problems returned.

Lead-singer Bradford Cox had several friendly exchanges with the crowd as the glitches were ironed out but he couldn't have been more optimistic op·ti·mist
