DEDICATION CEREMONY SET FOR NEW-LOOK OLD AGOURA PARK.

Children can go swinging or climbing while their parents fire up the barbecues at Old Agoura Park.

Phase II of the community park at Colodny Road and Driver Avenue has been completed for $94,000, according to according to

 Audrey Brown Audrey Kathleen Brown (later Court) (May 24, 1913 – June, 2005) is a British athlete who competed mainly in the 100 metres.

She competed for Great Britain in the 1936 Summer Olympics held in Berlin, Germany in the 4 x 100 metres where she won the Silver medal with her
, director of community services. A dedication ceremony is scheduled for today at 4 p.m.

``What's exciting is now we have a children's play area,'' Brown said. ``There's a climbing apparatus, tot and youth swings, and spring-type rides.''

Brown said other improvements made at the park over the past two months include benches, more trash cans In the Macintosh, a simulated garbage can used for deleting files and folders. The trash can keeps the files intact in case the user wants to restore them, but can be "emptied" from time to time to save disk space.  and parking lot improvements.

Development on Old Agoura Park began in 1993 when the 10-acre site was acquired in a land swap with Agoura Investment Group in which the city traded the former 2.75-acre Old Agoura Park for the new lot.

Future developments for the park include the construction of a recreational building, a basketball court and a third equestrian arena.

Most ponies are of Celtic origin. They are noted for their extreme hardiness and gentle natures. Some ponies are only 26 in. (65 cm) high.
