As per the agreement, Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation will use DED's data licensing and business registration system to issue licences to individuals, companies and corporations, whose activities fall under Dubai World's projects, a strategic partner to PCFC.

Sami Al Qamzi, Director-general of the DED, and Ahmad Butti Ahmad, Executive Chairman, PCFC, signed the agreement.

"The agreement comes in line with DED's objective to enhance the performance of the business sector, which plays a vital role in driving the growth of the economy in Dubai.
