If you didn't run out today to buy the special-edition DVD of ``Singin' in the Rain, then you can catch Debbie Reynolds talking about the film, which is celebrating its 50th year. Reynolds did not come by her perky ingenue image easily. In a new ``Private Screenings'' interview with Robert Osborne airing today, Reynolds describes ``Singin' in the Rain'' co-star Gene Kelly as a hard-to-please taskmaster and talks about her relationship with Elizabeth Taylor - both were members of the Ex-Wives of Eddie Fisher Club. The Reynolds interview leads off a mini-festival of ``Singin' in the Rain'' (6 p.m.), ``It Started With a Kiss'' (9 p.m.), ``A Catered Affair'' (11 p.m.) and ``The Unsinkable Molly Brown'' (12:45 a.m.).``Private Screenings: Debbie Reynolds airs at 5 and 8 p.m. today on TCM.

BRITNEY'S DVD AND BOOK: Lest we forget her now that she's supposedly taking time off, Britney Spears is ``putting together a collectible book and DVD set'' that will come out around the time of her birthday, according to her official Web site. Tentatively titled ``Stages,'' the book will feature pictures of the artist ``captured in private moments with her family and friends.'' Spears turns 21 on Dec. 2 - just in time for the holiday gift season.

The book will also show Spears on stage and behind the scenes of her recently completed Dream Within a Dream tour. The DVD, meanwhile, will feature footage from the tour, including the July 28 tour-closing performance in Mexico City that was cut short due to violent rain. The home video is being put together by filmmaker Albert Maysles (``Monterey Pop,'' ``The Beatles: The First U.S. Visit'').

``I wanted to share with my fans all the things that they never get to see that make it all so special for me,'' Spears writes on the site. ``It's my way of saying thank you.'' No price has been set on the set, but the word free wasn't mentioned - so it's doubtful fans will be saying thank you to her.

JUSTIN'S CAUSE: Days after an alleged drunk driver killed a fan hoping to catch a glimpse of Spears' ex, Justin Timberlake, at a Burbank radio station, the 'N Sync singer said Tuesday he will lend his name to a national awareness campaign.

Timberlake announced a long-term partnership with Recording Artists, Actors & Athletes Against Drunk Driving.

Later this fall, Timberlake will write and produce a 30-second public service radio spot encouraging his fans not to drink and drive, according to RADD.

The alliance was prompted by the Sept. 9 death of 21-year-old Anne White, who had hoped to meet the the 'N Sync frontman after he appeared on KIIS-FM disc jockey JoJo's nighttime radio show to promote his upcoming solo album.

Cameron Albert Duty, 23, allegedly backed his pickup truck onto the sidewalk and into the group gathered behind the KIIS studios. Timberlake had already left the studio.

White was dragged under the vehicle for about a block, and Duty allegedly left the scene after White's body fell free of the truck. Officers who noticed rear-end damage to the pickup stopped Duty blocks away.

Duty is being held in lieu of $1 million bail pending arraignment Sept. 26 in Pasadena Superior Court on a murder charge.
