DEBBIE Rowe visits her mother in LA yesterday, amid claims she has only received one instalment of the pounds 4.5million deal she signed with Michael Jackson for custody of their children.

The former nurse gave birth to the singer's eldest two children after signing a surrogacy agreement with him in January 1996.

Rowe was artificially inseminated to conceive Prince Michael Jr, 12, and Paris, 11, and papers reveal she tried to win temporary custody in 2003, after Gavin Arvizo, 14, accused Jacko of abuse.

In the application for custody, she wrote: "I was told that our children were treated like royalty and were very happy children.

"I wanted to speak with Michael over the past few years to talk about our children but he did not want to speak with me. I maintained contact with persons close to him to keep updates on them."

When the singer was acquitted two years later, Rowe agreed to give up all parental rights in exchange for pounds 4.5million, paid over 10 years.

She received a lump sum of pounds 606,000 and the first instalment of pounds 390,000 in 2007.

But it is unknown whether she will now be given the rest of the cash.

It is believed she will fight for custody of the children, currently in the care of Jackson's mum Katherine. A hearing is scheduled for next Monday.
