HAMILL Louise It is with deep regret that Thornaby Town Council learned of the recent death of Louise Hamill. Louise was a true friend to the people of Thornaby, due to her work with the Thornaby Heritage Group in their campaign to stop the sale of our Town Hall. Almost single handedly she produced a scheme which had Stockton Council adopted, it would have created a state of the art tourist attraction and kept the building in public ownership. Her talent, drive and sheer hard work inspired all who came in touch with her, she will be sorely missed.
