 DEAN THOMAS F. KELLER OF DUKE UNIVERSITY IS NAMED TO ABP
 BOARD OF DIRECTORS; REGULAR QUARTERLY DIVIDEND DECLARED
 ATLANTA, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- American Business Products, Inc. (NYSE: ABP) today announced that Dr. Thomas F. Keller, dean of the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, has been appointed by the board to serve the unexpired director's term of Denis K. Vanier, who resigned.
 The term expires in 1994.
 The board also declared a regular quarterly dividend of 17-1/2 cents per share of common stock payable on Sept. 15 to shareholders of record Sept. 1.
 "We are delighted to have a person of Dean Keller's stature on the ABP board of directors," said W.J. Biggers, chairman of the board, in announcing the appointment. "Our company will benefit from his counsel and insights as a board member."
 Keller, who joined the Duke faculty in 1959, has been principal architect of the development and growth of the Fuqua School of Business, of which he is dean. He is also chairman of the Department of Management Science and R.J. Reynolds Professor of Business Administration.
 A contributor to numerous journals, Keller is a certified public accountant and former editor of the Accounting Review and co-author of textbooks in accounting, financial accounting theory, and advanced accounting.
 Keller also serves on the board of Mebane Packaging Corporation, LADD Furniture, Inc., and Wendy's International, Inc. He is chairman of the Research Triangle World Trade Center and a trustee of the Cambridge Series Trust.
 Born in Greenwood, S.C., Keller received an A.B. degree from Duke and M.B.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
 ABP's operating companies and their products and services are: Curtis 1000 Inc., envelopes, labels and business forms; Vanier Business Forms & Services, business forms; BookCrafters USA, Inc., book printing and distributing; American Fiber-Velope Mfg. Co., specialty envelopes and filing systems; and Jen-Coat, Inc., specialty extrusion coating and laminating of packaging. ABP is a joint venture partner in Curtis 1000 Europe GmbH, which produces and markets envelopes in Europe with facilities in Germany, England and Luxembourg.
