The Area Housing Authority of Ventura County is expected today to close its waiting list to new applications from low-income seniors seeking housing assistance.

The agency opened its waiting list for 12 days last month to sign up seniors needing financial help to afford lodging Lodging or holiday accommodation is a type of accommodation. People who travel and stay away from home for more than a day need lodging mainly for sleeping.
