DE LA CERDA ON JOB AT COLLEGE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER.

VALENCIA -- A local school board member and recipient of the Hispanic Engineering National Achievement Award started his new job Monday as director of the Small Business Development Center at College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation. .

Paul De La Cerda owned a successful technology business that focused primarily on the development of patented wireless products and electronic systems for private industry and the federal government. Most recently, De La Cerda began a private consulting practice focusing on business solutions, fundraising and marketing strategies.

De La Cerda is a founding member of the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Committee.
