The letter noted that the firm had promoted the drug at a meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology American Society of Clinical Oncology, or ASCO, is an organization that represents all clinical oncologists. Every year, ASCO holds a large symposium where physicians and researchers meet to convey and discuss research and ideas.  in May as enabling physicians to "send patients home earlier and they can inject themselves" and described the product as potentiating immuotherapies "by reversing immunosuppresion caused by the production of free radicals."
