Click2learn Will Also Deliver DDI's Award-winning Management

Courses to Global 1000 Companies via ASP-based e-Learning Network

Development Dimensions International, Inc. (DDI ddI and ddC: see AZT. ), a global provider of management training, has awarded Click2learn (Nasdaq:CLKS) a $1.3 million contract to convert its world-renowned leadership curriculum into robust, multimedia-enabled e-Learning courses.

As part of the partnership, Click2learn will electronically deliver DDI's market-leading management training over its e-Learning Network to selected Click2learn corporate partners, DDI's own Global 1000 clients, as well as virtually any company with Internet access See how to access the Internet. .

"At DDI, we firmly believe that the power of e-Learning lies not in choosing between classroom training and online training, but in skillfully skill·ful

mixing platforms to deliver knowledge in a better way. By combining instructor-led courses, self-study, electronic performance support and online learning we can create training programs that are more powerful than any single delivery method," said Pete Weaver, senior vice-president and Chief Technology Officer of DDI.

"Click2learn's proven technology and processes, combined with DDI's award-winning content will provide our customers with a tremendously effective e-Learning experience, and prove that the magic of eLearning is really in the mix of delivery modes."

Over the next few years, DDI plans to incorporate online learning segments into most of its management, front-line, service, and executive training courses.

During the first phase of development, Click2learn and DDI analyzed an·a·lyze

To speed the development process, the web-based courses are being developed using Click2learn's Rapid e-Learning Development System (ReDS) -- an ASP-based, collaborative, and scaleable platform for web-based course development. By enabling developers to work on projects concurrently from remote locations, Click2learn's ReDS speeds the process of creating fully interactive, data-rich courses optimized for an online environment.

The first series of modules will be from DDI's two leading learning systems -- Techniques for a High-Performance Workforce(SM) and Interaction Management(R): Tactics and Strategies for Effective Leadership(R). These two systems have been used to train over three million leaders worldwide and will soon be available via Click2learn's e-Learning Network. Concurrent with the development of these courses, DDI has created several methods by which learners can practice the skills learned in the web-based content. These "practice wraparound Wraparound

"Click2learn's partnership with DDI underscores the value of market-leading content being combined with award-winning eLearning technologies and expertise," said Kevin Oakes, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Click2learn dramatically simplifies this process by providing companies with the strategic expertise, development and delivery technologies to transform intellectual property for electronic distribution, while maintaining the quality of the learning experience itself," Oakes said.
