PCI and 32-bit PCI-X slots are physically the same, and PCI cards can plug into PCI-X slots.  core, aims at designers who want to put their trust in an experienced team to reduce their "Time to Market". DCM Technologies offerings include core, verification environment, documentation and services like customization, integration, testing, warranty and post warranty support.

"As One Stop Solutions Provider, we are uniquely placed to help chip developers/OEMs realize their products around PCI Express* technology, early," said Anil Tickoo-Director Sales & Marketing DCM Technologies. "The customer can focus on its core competence to gain competitive advantage whereas DCM Technologies takes care of the rest," said Anil.

"DCM Technologies is contributing to the growing ecosystem around PCI Express technology with its IP and customized design services," said Jim Pappas, director of initiative marketing for the Intel Enterprise Products Group. "This enormous ecosystem is helping accelerate the adoption of PCI Express technology throughout the industry."

Product Brief

The Salient features of DCMXpress - PCI Express RTL (Register Transfer Level) A high-level hardware description language (HDL) for defining digital circuits. The circuits are described as a collection of registers, Boolean equations, control logic such as "if-then-else" statements as well as complex event sequences;  IP are:

-- Configurable to Switch, Bridge, End Point and Root Complex

-- Configurable for multiple lanes x1/x4/x8/x16

-- High performance 64/128 bits Host Interface

-- 2.5Gbps PIPE interface for PHY/SerDes

-- Versatile for usage in applications like Switches and Servers

-- Highly flexible, easy to configure User Interface

-- SHPC/ECRC available optionally

-- Written in Verilog

The IP along with the Verification IP comes with complete documentation like user manual, test script. It is supported by comprehensive customization and integration services.
