DCI Releases Second Quarter Results.

 DCI (Display Control Interface) An Intel/Microsoft programming interface for full-motion video and games in Windows. It allowed applications to take advantage of video accelerator features built into the display adapter. .) Dynasty An application development system for enterprise client/server environments from Dynasty Technologies, Inc., Houston, TX (www.dynasty.com). Introduced in 1993, it is a repository-driven system that supports Windows, Mac and Motif clients and NT, OS/2 and major Unix servers and databases.  Components Inc. ("DCI" or the "Company") reported second quarter revenues of $4,492,834 with net earnings of $97,093 for the period ended June 30, 1997.

This represents earnings per share of $0.01. This compares to revenues of $1,590,341 with net earnings of $60,190 for second quarter 1996. In comparison to Q2 1996, Company operations in Q2 1997 include Tecway Technologies Limited.

"We are pleased with our overall results during this time period." Commented President and Chief Executive Officer, Gary Economo. "Even with memory pricing up to 85 percent below last year's levels and our continued geographical expansion of sales operations, we remained profitable. We are anticipating both higher revenues and improved profits in the next two quarters."

DCI is an organization of multiple business units converging the vast supply market into a single point of access for design engineers and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production facilities in a wide variety of high technology market segments. Its business groups include: Dynasty Components, High-Tech Direct, Softshop, Tecway Technologies Limited., Dyalem Concepts Inc., Intelligent Touch Solutions Inc., and Dynasty Components International Inc.
