DCI First Quarter Results Show Significant Improvement.


OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 28, 1997-- Dynasty Components (TSE See Tokyo Stock Exchange.

 DCI (Display Control Interface) An Intel/Microsoft programming interface for full-motion video and games in Windows. It allowed applications to take advantage of video accelerator features built into the display adapter. .) Dynasty Components Inc. ("DCI" or the "Company") reported first quarter revenues of $5,762,138 with net earnings of $214,006 for the period ended March 31, 1997. This represents earnings per share of $0.02. These results show significant improvement over the three quarters reported since the Company went public in May 1996. In April 1997, DCI reported its December 31, 1996 year end results of $9,796,897 in revenues with net earnings of $257,613, representing earnings of $0.02 per share. As Tecway Technologies Limited was acquired by DCI at the end of September 1996, comparative first quarter results are not available.

DCI is an organization of multiple business units dedicated to converging the vast supply market into a single point of access for design engineers and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  (Original Equipment Manufacturer) production facilities in a wide variety of high technology market segments. Its business groups include: Dynasty Components, High-Tech Direct, Softshop, Tecway Technologies Limited, Dyalem Concepts Inc., Intelligent Touch Solutions Inc., and Dynasty Components International Inc.

DCI's subsidiaries and divisions undertake sales and marketing of semiconductors, hardware and software, consumable A material that is used up and needs continuous replenishment, such as paper and toner.
