The theme of conference will be "Improving the Satellite Industry." Continuing that theme, FCC Commissioner Kevin Martin's speech on Thursday, April 25 at 12:45 p.m. will focus on key regulatory issues facing the satellite industry today. He is expected to delve into issues such as industry consolidation, spectrum interference, programming requirements, and how future industry growth affects these matters. The Carmel Group's Chairman and CEO, Jimmy Schaeffler, believes that the event will have a major impact on the near future of the direct broadcast satellite and satellite radio industries.
