solution for corporate intranets

DAZEL Corporation today premiered its MetaWeb intranet publish and subscribe solution to leading computer industry influencers at Demo '97, an exclusive conference focused on emerging technologies and innovative new products.

DAZEL's selection to participate at Demo '97 follows the recent announcement of the MetaWeb Early Availability Program.

MetaWeb is an extension of DAZEL's output management solution that enables companies to deliver business-critical information across corporate intranets via the publish-and-subscribe method. As a new destination for the DAZEL Output Server, MetaWeb enables organizations to leverage their investments in client/server computing with the power of intranets and Web technology.

"MetaWeb's publish and subscribe method is emerging as the preferred way to disseminate information via corporate intranets," said Bill Bock Noun 1. bock - a very strong lager traditionally brewed in the fall and aged through the winter for consumption in the spring

At Demo '97, DAZEL will show both "publish" and "subscribe" scenarios. The "publish" scenario demonstrates how MetaWeb allows reports from any application to be delivered to the Web. The "subscribe" scenario reveals how MetaWeb alerts users to the presence of published information and allows them to access information intended specifically for their review. Finally, DAZEL will show how its products work together to allow the delivery of any application to any device.

The DAZEL Output Server uses MetaWeb to enable an organization's production client/server applications to reliably deliver business-critical files, faxes, pages and e-mail across corporate intranets for viewing or printing using standard Web browsers The following is a list of web browsers.
