DAZED AND CONFUSED; Horror of Anna Nicole's last days.Byline: Linda Deutsch DRUGS death model Anna Nicole Smith was so weak and confused in her final days that she couldn't sit up and had to drink from a baby bottle. The fallen star died in a hotel bed stained by her own waste while a nurse told to watch her surfed the web and spoke on the phone. And investigators found a dozen different prescription drugs in the room. The grim details were revealed in a Los Angeles court, where Smith's ex-lover Howard Stern and two doctors are accused of feeding her a deadly drug cocktail. The judge will decide if there is enough evidence to put the accused on trial. They have all pled not guilty and could face jail if convicted. Former Playboy playmate Smith, 39, died in 2007 at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida. Hotel staff said Smith seemed "out of it" when she arrived and couldn't walk without Stern's help. One of the accused doctors, psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich, took the room next door to Smith. The court heard Eroshevich had prescribed many of the drugs in Smith's room. Many of the prescriptions were in the name "Stearne". Eroshevich told hotel staff Smith had flu. She said she wasn't licensed as a medic medic: see alfalfa. in Florida and asked them to send for another doctor. But Stern, who was also Smith's lawyer, allegedly stopped the doctor from seeing herbecause he didn't want any bad publicity. Smith died while nurse Tasma Brighthaupt, the wife of her bodyguard, was meant to be watching her. The court heard Brighthaupt was surfing the net and had to be told by another witness that the star's lips had turned blue. Investigators found drugs in the room including the muscle relaxants Clonazepam clonazepam /clo·naz·e·pam/ (klo-naz´e-pam) a benzodiazepine used as an anticonvulsant and as an antipanic agent. clo·naz·e·pam n. and Soma soma (sō`mə), psychotropic plant, the juice of which was sometimes drunk as part of the Vedic sacrifice (see Veda). Many hymns in the Rig-Veda are in praise of soma. and the powerful sedative sedative, any of a variety of drugs that relieve anxiety.
