In a live broadcast from a Van Nuys church Thursday, America celebrated the National Day of Prayer with a star-studded program that included sermons and music from Christian celebrities Andrae Crouch and Pat Boone Charles Eugene Patrick "Pat" Boone (born June 1 1934) is a singer whose smooth style made him a popular performer of the 1950s.
