In girls' volleyball:

--Lancers have new coach: Thousand Oaks High has announced that Tara Kroesch will be its new girls' volleyball varsity coach. Kroesch, who recently coached the junior varsity boys' and girls' volleyball squads at Newport Harbor High, was a former player at Pepperdine. She was a three-time member of the All-West Coast Conference team there. In girls' water polo:

--Rebels fall: Abhi Banskota and Miriam Anthony each had two goals but it wasn't enough as host Flintrigde Prep of La Canada (5-9, 4-3) lost to CAMS 6-5 in a Prep League match.

In women basketball:

--Regals roll: Nicole Sanchez had 18 points as Cal Lutheran improved to 5-0 in SCIAC SCIAC SIGINT Correlation Integration & Analysis Capability  play with an 85-52 victory over visiting Occidental College. Nicole Sanchez led the Regals (11-5, 5-0) with 18 points. Katie Placido Placido may refer to any of the following: People
