Westlake had little trouble completing a sweep of the four league tournaments, shooting 373 to win by 11 strokes at Sunset Hills Country Club and winning the 72-hole competition by 32 shots to advance to postseason with second-, third- and fourth-place finishers Agoura, Royal and Simi Valley, respectively.

Hoffenberg had a much harder time holding off Simi Valley senior Casey Piper, who erased Hoffenberg's match-opening, four-shot lead in eight holes with a 4-under-par front nine. Piper finished with four birdies and an eagle in a round of 68 to share medalist honors.

Hoffenberg countered with four birdies on the back nine and had six overall in a round of 70 that left him with a four-round total of 284 and two-stroke margin over runner-up Piper.

Both advance to postseason individual play, along with third-, fourth- and fifth-place finishers Jason Rosenkranz (68-293) and Michael Imperato (72-293) of Westlake and Thousand Oaks' Andy Anderson For other persons named Andy Anderson, see Andy Anderson (disambiguation).
