DAY IN SPORTS: VALLEY TORAH TAKES TITLE.

The Valley Torah boys' basketball team won its third consecutive Valley League title with a 73-33 thumping of host Coutin of Canoga Park on Tuesday afternoon.

Aryeh Simon had 12 points and 13 rebounds, Nathan Suffin added 11 and Noah Rubenstein contributed 10 for the Wolfpack (15-5, 6-2), which won despite playing without their two best scorers: Abey Malkin (disciplinary reasons) and Donny Simkin (undisclosed injury).

In other boys' basketball:

--Nat, Eagles fly high: Amrit Nat had 26 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and four steals as visiting Hillcrest Christian of Granada Hills defeated West Valley Christian of West Hills 87-43 in a Westside League game. For the Eagles (15-8, 10-1), the win sets up a league-title showdown with Milken Community of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  on Thursday.

--Jenkins rallies Falcons: James Jenkins had 20 points and 15 rebounds, including a crucial jumper in the final minute to give his team a two-point lead, as host Crescenta Valley The Crescenta Valley is a small inland valley in Los Angeles County, California. In girls' soccer:
