DAY IN SPORTS: UCLA'S COSTELLO WINS TITLE.

The conditions weren't ideal, but it didn't matter to UCLA's Alison Costello, who won the 2004 USA Junior Women's Cross Country individual championship Saturday in driving snow in Indianapolis.

The freshman completed the 6-kilometer course at Fall Creek Fall Creek is the name of several places in the United States:
