DAY IN SPORTS: SYLMAR WINS TO STAY UNDEFEATED.

The Sylmar High baseball team remained unbeaten after scoring a run in the bottom of the seventh inning Friday for a 2-1 victory over Alemany of Mission Hills in a Westside tournament game at Sylmar.

--Agoura 16, Moorpark 2: The Chargers (3-0, 3-0) swept all nine doubles matches to beat the Musketeers (2-3, 0-3) in a Marmonte League The Marmonte League is a high school sports league primarily made up of schools from Ventura County. In boys' volleyball:

--Roosevelt d. Granada Hills 3-2: Eddy Chen had 15 kills and Aaron Huberman added 48 assists, but the Highlanders fell 15-11, 15-13, 14-16, 4-15, 15-8 in a nonleague match.

Oak Park's girls try for state title

The Oak Park High girls' basketball team will go for a state championship today when it plays The Bishop's School of La Jolla La Jolla (lə hoi`yə), on the Pacific Ocean, S Calif., an uninc. district within the confines of San Diego; founded 1869. The beautiful ocean beaches, in particular La Jolla shores and Black's Beach, and sea-washed caves attract visitors and  at 10 a.m. in the Division IV CIF (1) (Common Intermediate Format) A standard video format used in videoconferencing. CIF formats are defined by their resolution, and standards both above and below the original resolution have been established. The original CIF is also known as Full CIF (FCIF).  state playoffs at the Forum.

The Eagles (25-5), enjoying the best season in school history, are coming off Thursday's 57-52 victory over Morro Bay.
