Considering there are not many students at tiny Stoneridge Prep High, one might think there is a shortage of boys' basketball talent at the Tarzana campus.

 proved otherwise Tuesday night, scoring a career-best 52 points in his team's 124-34 nonleague victory against Delphi Academy of La Canada at Cleveland High in Reseda.

The 6-foot-3 senior guard scored 32 points in the first half, and his overall total is two more than the enrollment at Stoneridge Prep, which rarely has more than 50 students in any calendar year.

In boys' soccer:

--Chaminade 2, Hesperia 0: Senior forward Courney Steiner scored his sixth goal in the past four games as host Chaminade of West Hills (12-6-2) won the nonleague game.

In girls' soccer:

--St. Genevieve 3, Bishop Conaty 0: Senior goalkeeper Jocelyn Mejia made six saves in her eighth shutout of the season for St. Genevieve of Panorama City (11-3-3, 6-1), which trails Alverno of Sierra Madre by one game in the Horizon league standings with a Feb. 12 showdown looming between the two teams.

In girls' water polo:

--Agoura 18, Thousand Oaks 2: Ashley Coleman and Meagan O'Linn each scored three times for host Agoura (13-3, 5-0), which demonstrated its offensive firepower by spreading the scoring among nine players in a Marmonte League victory.

--Royal 15, Newbury Park 4: Team captain Jessica Nantroup scored five goals and Kelly Palmberg and Malissa Dicato each added three for visiting Royal of Simi Valley (12-4, 5-1), which will host Saturday's Marmonte League game against first-place Agoura.

--Louisville 6, Notre Dame 3: Molly Mateus and Juliana Pasos each scored twice for Louisville of Woodland Hills (14-6, 5-1), which remained in contention for the Mission League title with the road victory.
