They both hit grand slams in the same inning.

--L.A. Baptist 5, Paraclete 3: Graham Miller went 3 for 4 with a home run and three RBI as L.A. Baptist of North Hills defeated Paraclete of Lancaster (6-3-1) in 11 innings in the championship game.

Miller (3-1) also pitched the final two innings to earn the victory for L.A. Baptist (8-1).

Righetti Tournament

--Saugus 7, Righetti 3: Casey Stevenson finished 2 for 3 and broke the game open for Saugus in the fourth inning with a three-run double as Saugus defeated Righetti of Santa Maria Santa Maria, city, Brazil

--Thousand Oaks 3, Escambia (Fla.) 2: Samantha Takeshita's three-run double in the fourth inning was the difference as Thousand Oaks defeated Escambia of Pensacola, Fla., (12-3) in the consolation semifinal.

Thousands Oaks (7-5) later lost 4-2 in the consolation championship to George Jenkins of Lakeland, Fla., (13-3).
