--Flintridge Prep d. Maranatha 3-0: Lindsay Fletcher had 17 kills and Melissa Pearson had 32 assists for host Flintridge Prep of La Canada, which won 25-15, 25-20, 25-12 to remain undefeated in each of its three matches this season.

--Saugus 234, Valencia 238: Melanie DeLeon shot a 3-over-par round of 39 at the Elkins Ranch Golf Course for Saugus in a nonleague victory over one of its Santa Clarita Santa Clarita, city (1990 pop. 110,642), Los Angeles co., S Calif., suburb 30 mi (48 km) NW of downtown Los Angeles, on the Santa Clara River; inc. 1987. Situated in the Santa Clara valley and nearby canyons, Santa Clarita includes the former towns of Canyon Country,  rivals.

Teammate Stephanie Aston finished with a 45 and Alissa Wohlflier and Adrienne Miner added rounds of 48 and 49, respectively.

Valencia's Michelle Mannix was second overall with a 40 and Stevy Loy carded a 42 for third.
