Chaminade High of West Hills blew a 15-point fourth-quarter lead but remained undefeated Saturday night, prevailing in overtime to defeat Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. For the census-designated place in Wyoming, see Antelope Valley-Crestview, Wyoming.

Donald Taylor had a chance to give the Antelopes (6-3) the victory, but missed a wide-open layup with two seconds remaining in overtime.

The loss spoiled a terrific performance by A.V. senior Ollie Ollie may refer to the following:
  • Shortened form of the given name Oliver
  • Ollie (skateboarding trick), the skateboarding trick invented by Alan "Ollie" Gelfand
  • Ollie Impossible, a variant of the trick first performed by Rodney Mullen
 Bradley, who scored 38 points, hitting 14 of 14 free throws.

Junior Dion Cook and sophomore Adrian Aye-Darko led the Eagles (4-0) with 19 and 16 points, respectively.

In other Canyon tournament games:

--Canyon 90, Quartz Hill 83 (2 OT): Chad Eichton and Jeremy Haggerty scored 32 and 25 points, respectively, to lead the Cowboys (6-2) past the Rebels (4-6) in the third-place game.

Mychael Williams scored 29 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Quartz Hill, which got a 3-pointer from Andrae Johnson (18 points) six seconds remaining in regulation to force OT.

--Ribet 58, Monroe 57: Chris Booker (14 points) scored on a put-back with six seconds left to lift the Fighting Frogs of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  to the consolation championship.

Caleb Bassey added 20 points for Ribet (8-1), which trailed 52-43 in the fourth quarter before engineering a 15-5 run to end the game.

Bryce Taylor Bryce Taylor is an American college basketball player at the University of Oregon. The 6'5", 205 pound junior guard is currently averaging 14.6 ppg and 5.1 rpg. High School  had a team-high 16 points for the Wolverines, who broke a 44-44 tie with a 20-8 fourth quarter. Santiago led Santa Barbara (4-2) with 26 points.

--Highland 70, Westlake 66: Tre Peters and Mike Stevenson combined for 43 points as the Bulldogs (7-2) defeated the Warriors for fifth place. Peters scored 20 of his game-high 23 points in the first half, when Highland took a 44-33 lead. Westlake, behind 19 points by Devin Entrikin, cut the Bulldogs' lead to five points at the end of three quarters but got no closer.

--Oxnard 53, Newbury Park 50: Javier Olmos' 3-pointer with 48 seconds remaining won it for the Yellowjackets (6-2). Newbury Park (7-3) was led by Chris Randall's 20 points, but his 22-foot shot at the buzzer to tie the game fell short.

In the Pasadena Poly boys' tournament:

Oaks Christian 59, Maranatha 47: Tournament MVP Aron Cline cline, in biology, any gradual change in a particular characteristic of a population of organisms from one end of the geographical range of the population to the other.  had 10 points and five assists, Brandon Denham scored 12 points and Sean Adams had nine points and nine rebounds as the no-senior Lions of Westlake Village (5-0) defeated the Minutemen minutemen, in the American Revolution, colonial militiamen or armed citizens who agreed to turn out for service at a minute's notice. The term minutemen  of Arcadia (5-4) to win their school's first-ever varsity basketball tournament.

 64, Faith Baptist 38: Ramsey Zahr had nine points and nine rebounds for the Contenders of Canoga Park (0-3). Mike Shia scored 15 for the Titans (1-7).

Pasadena Poly 39, Oakwood 37-Kevin Kawachi hit a 16-foot jumper as time expired to lift the host Panthers (4-2) past the Gorillas of North Hollywood (1-5) in the third-place game. Oakawood all-tournament pick Stan Musgrave, who had 13 points 15 rebounds, hit two free throws with 13 seconds left to tie the game.

In the Buena girls' basketball tournament:

--Hart 69, Buena 40: Freshman Ashlee Tribilcock scored 30 points to lead the Indians of Newhall (5-1) past the annual Southern Section powerhouse A fourth-generation language from Cognos that was introduced in the late 1970s for midrange computers. --Westlake 2, Saugus 2: Goalkeeper Jared Keith stopped John Wright's penalty kick to give the undefeated Warriors a 4-2 shootout Shootout

The Warriors (6-0), who were perfect on their four penalty shots, battled to come back from a 2-1 deficit and tie the game in regulation.

Westlake, which allowed just goals in three tournament games, saw a 1-0 lead slip away as Mike Sifferman and Danny Girch scored goals for the Centurions (5-1) in the first 10 minutes of the second half.

Brenan Nugent and Steve Stavro Steve Atanas Stavro, CM (September 27 1927 – April 24 2006), born Manoli Stavroff Sholdas, was a Canadian businessman, grocery store magnate, horse breeder and sports team owner.  had goals for Westlake, which plays St. Francis for the title on Monday.

--St. Francis 4, Crespi 0: Daniel Paladini scored twice and Jeff Buddenbohn and Gabe Noris added goals in a semifinal win that advanced the defending tournament-champion Knights (5-0) to Monday's 7 p.m. tournament final. The two Mission League teams played a rough match in which five yellow cards were issued.

In nonleague boys' basketball:

--Taft 77, Gardena 65: Mustafa Asghari totaled 39 points, seven assists and five steals and Nima Javaherian made six of eight 3-pointers to spark Taft (4-1) in a nonleague game at Carson High.
