La Canada's Kevin McKenzie Kevin Alexander McKenzie (born July 16, 1948 in Pretoria) was a South African cricketer from 1966/67 to 1986/87. --Kanda repeats: Flintridge Prep of La Canada Flintridge senior Brett Kanda overcame a rocky start to win his second consecutive league title Thursday, finishing 70-73-143 at Brookside Golf Course Brookside Golf is a multi-course golf facility located in Pasadena, California. The facility offers two courses, the longer C.W. Koiner Course (Course #1) and shorter E.O. Nay Course (Course #2).  for a two-stroke advantage over La Salle La Salle, city (1990 pop. 9,717), La Salle co., N Ill., on the Illinois River; settled 1830, inc. 1852. It forms a tricity unit with Peru and Oglesby. Corn, wheat, and soybeans are grown, and cattle and hogs are raised.  of Pasadena's Charles Redmond (70-75-145).

Nick Geyer of Viewpoint of Calabasas (75-70-145) and Scott Chacon of Pasadena Poly (72-77-149) claimed the final two league berths in the May 16 Southern Section individual prelims at River Ridge River Ridge is the name of more than one location.

MISSION LEAGUE

--Krane wins: Harvard-Westlake of Studio City's Jon Krane earned medalist honors with a two-day, 145 total at Griffith Park Griffith Park is a large public park at the eastern end of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is situated in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The park covers 4,210 acres (17 km²) of land, making it one of the largest urban parks in North America.  Golf Course, finishing ahead of Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. In the United States of America, Notre Dame  of Sherman Oaks' Kyle Borggrebe (146) and Taylor Wallace (147).

C.J. Lee (148) of Harvard-Westlake was fourth, and Kyle Gyermek (152) of Crespi of Encino finished fifth.

PREP BASEBALL

SUNSET SIX LEAGUE

--Poly 19, Hollywood 3: Junior Richard Barrett hit a three-run home run and pitched five innings for the victory as Poly of Sun Valley (16-9, 11-0) won its 26th consecutive league game and clinched a share of its fifth title in six seasons.

PREP SOFTBALL

FOOTHILL LEAGUE

--Valencia 14, Burbank 0: Courtney Baughman and Jordan Taylor combined to pitch a one-hitter as visiting Valencia (21-3, 7-1) moved a half-game ahead of Saugus.

Saugus' game against Burroughs of Burbank was rained out.

Valencia will play Saugus on May 12, and the winner could clinch the league title.

GOLDEN LEAGUE

--Quartz Hill 2, Palmdale 1: Kirstin Ware pitched a three-hitter, struck out 13 and walked one as visiting Quartz Hill (15-8, 8-3) moved into a second-place tie with Highland of Palmdale.

The top five teams in the league are within 1 1/2 games of each other.

MARMONTE LEAGUE

--Royal 6, Moorpark 3: Becca Heteniak gave up five hits and three runs to pick up her 12th win of the season. Andi Ramirez delivered a bases-loaded triple to break the game open in the fourth inning for Royal of Simi Valley (20-2, 11-1).

OLYMPIC LEAGUE

--Valley Christian/C 2, L.A. Baptist 0: Allyson Salas made one mistake, giving up a two-run, first-inning homer, as host L.A. Baptist of North Hills (9-10, 2-5) lost to first-place Valley Christian of Cerritos (7-0 in league).

Salas (8-9) threw a four-hitter, striking out 12.
