The Antelope Valley
 Country Club on Wednesday. However, his teammate, Brandon Olsson, played better as the Highland High of Palmdale boys' golf team defeated Saugus 374-405 in a nonleague match.

Olsson shot a 1-under-par 70, highlighted by four birdies to earn medalist honors.

--Hart 364, Nordhoff 387, Buena 398: David Cape fired a 3-under 69, including five birdies in the nonleague victory for Hart of Newhall at Soule Park Golf Course.

In addition, the Indians (7-1) posted their lowest par-72 round in more than 20 years.

--Hart 9, Sylmar 1: Senior shortstop Chris Valaika hit a three-run home run in the first inning and added a two-run homer in the fourth, finishing with five RBI RBI
