DAY IN SPORTS: HIGHLAND COACH GETS 500TH WIN.

Highland High varsity wrestlers won four of 14 weight divisions Saturday as the Bulldogs of Palmdale placed first in their own Bobby Lockridge Invitational to present coach Mike Young with his 500th career victory - a state record.

Chris Gelfo (119 pounds), Ryan D'Errico (130), Daniel Frazer (152) and Poasi Ikahihifo (275) were winners for Highland, which finished 9-0 in the 12-team competition. In girls' basketball:

--L.A. Baptist 40, Campbell Hall 36: Lindsay Sanders scored a game-high 14 points for host LAB of North Hills (12-4) in a nonleague win at home. Jassmine Abrams scored 12 points for Campbell Hall of North Hollywood (8-9).

In men's basketball:
