Alex Stepheson Alex Stepheson is an American basketball player at the University of North Carolina. Grabbed 20 or more rebounds in 16 games as a senior at Harvard-Westlake High School in North Hollywood • Fourth-team Parade All-America selection • Averaged 20.4 points and 17.  narrowly missed a triple-double Friday as Harvard- Westlake of Studio City defeated visiting St. Francis of La Canada 68-54 in a Mission League boys' basketball game.

The senior forward finished with 15 points, 12 rebounds and eight blocks and could have had a triple-double had he played more than 24 minutes. There was no need because Harvard-Westlake (19-3, 8-1) was in control throughout.

--Campbell Hall 89, Valley Christian 42: Joe Ford scored 19 points with 12 rebounds, eight assists and six blocks as Campbell Hall Campbell Hall can refer to:

--Hart 65, Burbank 33:Senior Ashlee Trebilcock, held to only three points in the first quarter, recovered from a slow start to finish with 29 points for Hart of Newhall (19-5, 7-1). The second-place Indians face a showdown Tuesday against first-place Valencia (19-6, 8-0).

SUNSET SIX LEAGUE

--Grant 53, Poly 51: Mallory Flot scored a game-high 23 points, highlighted by a 5-of-6 effort from the free-throw line free-throw line

PREP LEAGUE

--Flintridge Prep 43, Westridge 39: Sophomore Laurel Myers scored 11 points and added a school-record 24 rebounds for host Flintridge Prep of La Canada (16-5, 9-1), which moved into sole possession of first place and strengthened its chances for a fourth consecutive league title.

Loren Schofield scored the first goal for Taft - which was winless in 13 previous meetings with Chatsworth - and Natalie Hanassab put the game away with an insurance goal in the final minute off a pass from Joanna Guatemala, who had two assists.
